Overview

MovieBowls is an early-stage app for creating movie bowls, inviting friends, exploring public bowls, adding movie ideas, and choosing what to watch. By using MovieBowls, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful, personal, and community-friendly purposes.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your sign-in information secure. You should use accurate information when creating an account or joining a bowl.

Bowls, Public Content, And Comments

Private bowls are intended for invited members. Public bowls, tags, comments, member names, and related activity may be visible to other signed-in users. Do not post private, confidential, harmful, unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.

Admin Controls

Bowl admins can invite members, approve or decline join requests, change bowl settings, and manage bowl activity. MovieBowls may remove content or restrict access when needed to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

Movie Data

Movie metadata and images are provided by TMDB. MovieBowls uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Movie availability, streaming options, ratings, and metadata may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Intellectual Property

MovieBowls, including its original site design, interface, text, logos, graphics, source code, and other original materials, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create competing or derivative uses of MovieBowls materials except as allowed by law or with written permission.

You keep ownership of content you submit, such as comments, bowl names, tags, and movie suggestions, but you grant MovieBowls permission to use that content as needed to operate, display, improve, and share the app according to your bowl settings.

No Warranty

MovieBowls is provided as-is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the app will meet every expectation.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MovieBowls and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use of MovieBowls after updates means you accept the updated terms.
