We use information to operate MovieBowls, authenticate users, show your bowls, send invites, process public join requests, support public discovery, improve the app, and protect the service from misuse.
Public And Shared Information
Information in private bowls is visible to bowl members. Information in public bowls, such as bowl names, tags, watch rhythm, member counts, and some community activity, may be visible to other signed-in users. Comments are visible to members of the relevant bowl.
Service Providers
MovieBowls uses third-party services to run the app, store data, authenticate users, send emails, host the website, and retrieve movie metadata. These providers may process data as needed to provide their services.
MovieBowls may send account, confirmation, and invitation emails. You should not use the invite system to send unwanted or abusive messages.
Data Retention
Data may be retained while your account or bowls remain active, unless deletion is required or requested and technically feasible. Backups or logs may remain for a limited period.
Your Choices
You can choose what to post, what bowls to create, and whether a bowl is private or public. You can request changes or deletion by contacting the MovieBowls operator.
Children
MovieBowls is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the app if you are not old enough to create an account and agree to this policy.
